Custom stickers used to mean a minimum order of 500 pieces from a print shop in Ubi and a week of waiting. In 2026 you can order a single A6 sheet of waterproof vinyl stickers with your own face on it and have it in your letterbox two days later. This guide explains what actually matters when you buy custom stickers in Singapore, so you know what you are paying for.
Vinyl or paper?
Paper stickers are cheap and fine for a one-day event, but they stain with the first drop of kopi and peel in our humidity. For anything that lives on a water bottle, laptop, helmet or notebook you want vinyl with a laminate on top. Vinyl is a plastic film: it does not absorb water, the print sits under a clear protective layer, and it stretches slightly so it wraps around curves without cracking.
Within vinyl there are two things to ask about. First, is it laminated? Unlaminated vinyl is waterproof but the ink will scratch. Second, what adhesive? "Permanent" adhesive is for outdoor signage and will take paint off a wall. For personal stickers you want a removable adhesive that holds for years but peels cleanly — that is what we use at CoolSticker.
Kiss-cut vs die-cut
A die-cut sticker is cut all the way through sticker and backing, so every sticker is its own loose piece. A kiss-cut sheet is cut only through the vinyl layer, leaving the backing paper intact, so you get one sheet with many stickers that each peel off individually. For sticker packs — a dozen faces, a set of labels, a batch of pet portraits — kiss-cut sheets are far more practical: nothing gets lost, they fit in an envelope, and they are cheaper per sticker because the printer handles one sheet instead of twelve pieces.
What custom stickers cost in Singapore
Prices vary wildly because the inputs vary. Here is a rough map for 2026:
- Bulk commercial printing (logo stickers, 500+ pieces): S$0.10–0.40 per piece, 3–7 working days, usually requires print-ready artwork.
- Small-batch shops on Carousell or Etsy (10–50 pieces): S$0.80–2.50 per piece plus shipping, 3–10 days, artwork usually supplied by you.
- Single personalised sheets like ours: S$9.90 for a 3×4 cm sheet, S$12.90 for 5×6 cm, S$15.90 for 7×8 cm, buy two sheets get one free, free shipping within Singapore, shipped in 1–2 business days. The artwork is generated from one photo, so there is nothing to design.
If you need two hundred identical logo stickers, go to a commercial printer. If you want stickers of yourself, your kids, your dog, or a set of labels for one household, a personalised sheet is cheaper and faster.
Turnaround and shipping
Local printing is the difference between two days and two weeks. Anything printed overseas (most "cheap sticker" sites) ships by untracked mail that takes 10–25 days to reach Singapore. We print and kiss-cut in our own studio, post with SingPost the next business day, and most orders arrive within 2–3 days of ordering.
Getting the artwork right
This is where most people get stuck: a print shop wants a vector file or a 300-dpi PNG with a cut line. If you just have a selfie, the easiest route is to let an image model do the drawing. On CoolSticker you upload one photo, pick a pack — twelve silly hats, nine meme reactions, your pet in nine moods — and the whole sheet is generated, cut out and bordered automatically. Making the sheet is free; you only pay if you print it or want the clean high-resolution files.
If you already have artwork, the custom sheet tool lets you upload your own images straight into a print-ready grid, and the photo sticker tool turns any photo into a die-cut-style sticker with a white border, no AI involved.
