Your pet, nine moods
Pet Moods takes one clear photo of a cat or dog and draws it nine times: grumpy, zoomies, judging you, hungry, sleepy, guilty, proud, confused, in love. The coat pattern, ear shape and eye colour are kept, so it reads as your pet and not a generic one.
The photo that works
Pets are harder than people because they do not hold still. Get down to eye level, use daylight, and take the photo when the ears are up and both eyes are open. A treat held just above the lens is the oldest trick and still the best one. Dark-coated pets need more light than you think; a black cat in a dim room comes out as a silhouette.
What people do with them
The pet group chat, obviously. Beyond that: the vet's reminder sheet on the fridge, the cat sitter's instruction card, the lid of the treat jar. Printed on waterproof vinyl they survive the water bowl. Pet owners also tell us this is the pack they order for other pet owners — see pet portraits for the more painterly version.
